Step into the lost world of Dwaraka, the magnificent city of Lord Krishna, now recreated underwater. Guests explore ancient architecture, cultural heritage and timeless wisdom on a guided walk. It is a journey five thousand years back, into a divine civilization.
The experience
Swimming is not required. The walk is guided, with professional support, and it includes a memorable photo and video experience. Guests must be between 10 and 90 years of age. One hundred and fifty tickets are available each day, and advance booking is recommended.
The day dive runs in two slots: morning, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and afternoon, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. After dark, the night dive lights the sunken city from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The founder
Ar. Chakilam Kiran Kumar trained in architecture, interior design and ergonomics at HAMTECH. He founded Newgen Design Studio, which has delivered more than 200 projects, from ice cream franchise kiosks to executive lounges at the Taj Tri Star. Earlier, in his family's rice mill business, he designed a mobile rice mill that earned an award from the state agriculture minister.
Today he farms golden berries and keeps an indigenous herd named Nandi Prajapathi, Hamsi, Aruni, Bahula, Radhey, Suballa, Garuda, Thungi and more. The Ancient Dwaraka brings those threads together: architecture, agriculture and the teachings of the Gita.
