Welcome to The Ancient Dwaraka – Underwater Walk Experience. By accessing our website, purchasing a ticket, making a booking, or participating in the experience, the guest agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Ticket Booking
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation of payment. The Ancient Dwaraka operates with a limited number of guests and entry is permitted only for the date, time slot and experience category mentioned on the confirmed ticket.
Tickets are valid only for the person(s), date and time slot for which they were booked. Guests are advised to carefully verify the date, time, number of guests, age eligibility and ticket category before completing payment.
2. No Cancellation & No Refund
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL.
Once a booking has been successfully confirmed:
- Tickets cannot normally be cancelled.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- No refund will be provided for late arrival, no-show, personal reasons, change of travel plans, illness or failure to meet participation requirements.
- No partial refund will be provided where a guest voluntarily decides not to complete the experience after commencement.
These conditions are subject to any rights or refunds that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law. The full Cancellation and Refund Policy explains company-initiated refunds, duplicate payments, and no-show rules.
3. No Ticket Upgrade or Downgrade
Once a ticket is booked, no upgrade, downgrade or conversion to another ticket category is permitted.
For example, a Day Experience ticket cannot be upgraded to a Night Experience ticket after booking, and a weekday ticket cannot automatically be converted into a weekend/holiday ticket.
Any new experience desired by the guest must be booked separately, subject to availability.
4. Age Limit — Mandatory
The permitted age for the Underwater Walk Experience is:
MINIMUM AGE: 10 YEARS
MAXIMUM AGE: 90 YEARS
This age requirement is mandatory.
Guests below 10 years of age or above 90 years of age will not be permitted to participate in the underwater experience even if a ticket has been purchased.
The Ancient Dwaraka reserves the right to request valid government-issued proof of age.
For participants below 18 years, consent and supervision requirements prescribed by The Ancient Dwaraka must be complied with by a parent or legal guardian.
5. Swimming Is Not Required
Guests do not necessarily need to know swimming to participate in the Underwater Walk Experience.
However, participation is subject to the guest being comfortable with the underwater environment and successfully completing all mandatory safety instructions and procedures.
6. Medical & Physical Fitness
The Underwater Walk is an underwater recreational activity. Every participant must disclose any medical condition that may affect safe participation.
Guests with heart conditions, serious respiratory problems, uncontrolled blood pressure, epilepsy/seizure disorders, recent major surgery, serious ear or sinus conditions, pregnancy, or any other condition that could make underwater participation unsafe should obtain appropriate medical advice before participating.
The Ancient Dwaraka and its trained personnel reserve the right to refuse or discontinue participation on safety grounds where a participant appears medically or physically unsuitable for the activity.
A refusal on legitimate safety grounds does not automatically entitle the guest to a refund.
7. Alcohol, Drugs & Unsafe Behaviour
Any guest who appears to be under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or intoxicating substances will not be permitted to participate.
Guests must follow all instructions provided by instructors, dive professionals, safety personnel and authorised staff.
Running, diving without permission, removing safety equipment, intentionally damaging equipment, touching restricted installations, or any behaviour that endangers oneself or another person is strictly prohibited.
8. Safety Instructions Are Mandatory
Before entering the underwater experience, every participant must attend the required safety briefing, equipment orientation and training/demonstration.
Safety equipment supplied to the participant must be worn and used exactly as instructed.
The instructions of the safety team and dive professionals are final in all matters concerning underwater safety.
9. Right to Refuse Participation
The Ancient Dwaraka reserves the right to refuse entry or underwater participation where a guest:
- fails to satisfy age or safety requirements;
- provides incorrect information;
- refuses to follow safety instructions;
- behaves aggressively or dangerously;
- appears medically unfit;
- appears intoxicated; or
- otherwise creates a risk to themselves, other guests, staff or the facility.
10. Reporting Time & Late Arrival
Late arrival may result in the guest missing the scheduled experience.
Because each session has limited capacity and safety staffing requirements, late arrival or missed time slots will not normally qualify for a refund or rescheduling.
11. Operational & Safety Changes
Underwater activities depend upon operational, technical, water-quality, safety and environmental conditions.
The Ancient Dwaraka reserves the right to temporarily suspend, delay, reschedule, modify or cancel an experience when reasonably necessary due to safety concerns, maintenance, equipment issues, water conditions, power failure, government directions, emergencies, force majeure or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Where The Ancient Dwaraka itself cancels an experience and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, the guest will be offered an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances.
12. Photography & Video
Personal photography and video may be permitted only in designated areas and subject to safety instructions.
Flash equipment, drones, professional photography equipment, underwater cameras or other equipment may be restricted where they interfere with safety or operations.
Commercial photography, videography, advertising, filmmaking or professional shoots require prior written permission from The Ancient Dwaraka.
13. Personal Belongings
Guests are responsible for their own mobile phones, jewellery, watches, cameras, footwear, clothing and other personal belongings.
The Ancient Dwaraka will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings except where liability arises under applicable law.
Guests should use designated storage/locker facilities wherever provided.
14. Damage to Property or Equipment
Guests must use underwater breathing apparatus, masks, safety equipment, costumes, lockers and all other equipment responsibly.
A guest may be required to pay the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing equipment or property intentionally or negligently damaged by them.
15. Assumption of Inherent Risk
The Underwater Walk Experience involves inherent risks associated with entering and moving within an underwater environment.
By participating, guests acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to comply with all safety procedures.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable Indian law.
16. Children and Minors
Participants between 10 and 17 years of age must comply with The Ancient Dwaraka's requirements for minors. A parent or legal guardian may be required to sign the applicable consent/declaration before participation.
17. Intellectual Property
The name “The Ancient Dwaraka,” its logo, website design, artwork, architectural representations, photographs, videos, promotional materials, stories, graphics and other proprietary content may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without written permission from The Ancient Dwaraka, except as permitted by law.
18. Acceptance of Terms
By completing an online booking and selecting “I Agree to the Terms & Conditions”, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including the age restriction, ticket policy, safety requirements and refund/cancellation policy.
